Blindness Antidote
My sight was once illusion;
A great log impaired my view.
This caused me much confusion
When I saw a speck in you.
Attempting to remove it
Was a futile exercise.
I only seemed to move it
Deeper still into your eyes.
One day, by grace, Christ changed me
And He took the log away,
In His great mercy saved me;
Oh what a precious day!!
Now I could see so clearly
To remove each little mote:
The log that cost Christ dearly
Was by blindness antidote.
