How you rate on the moral scale
Depends to whom you dare compare,
And what morality means to you:
What measure do you measure to?
Was the standard set by past great men
Who stamped their worth by sword and pen,
And left the world in its present state?
Consider now!! Don’t procrastinate!!
Compared to some, you might look fine,
Be a semi-saint in people’s eyes,
But compare yourself to Jesus Christ,
And see the land as it really lies!!
He’s God’s standard—The Perfect Man:
Compare to Him!!—That’s where you stand!!

Greetings and Amen. It’s always easy to compare ourselves with our contemoraries who also have come short of the glory of God. May we always strive to be more like Christ and less like each other.
